CORY A. BIRNBERG received his Bachelors degree with honors, from UCLA, and a Masters degree from Cal State University, Dominquez Hills, both in English Literature. Mr. Birnberg attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and received the American Jurisprudence awards in Evidence and Corporations, deans honors in 1980, 1981 and 1982 graduating cum laude. Mr. Birnberg practiced with Spector and Leibow, a Los Angeles bankruptcy firm and then later attended Tulane University, earning a Masters degree in Admiralty. He has practiced in San Francisco, California, since 1984, founding this firm in 1984.
