   Cory A. Birnberg


Attorney Cory Birnberg is a licensed attorney, graduating in1982 from Loyola Law School in the State of California. He received his Masters of Law degree in Admiralty, from Tulane University in 1984.

Attorney Birnberg has 28 years experience as a lawyer, 26 of those years including experience as a maritime lawyer. In addition,he has a Masters of Law Degree in Maritime Law, and is a Certified Admiralty Specialist with the State Bar of California Admiralty and Maritime Law Advisory Commission.

He is currently the only attorney appointed by the California State Bar to the Commission for Admiralty and Maritime matters in Northern California. He is one of two who passed the State Bar's Specialization for Admiralty in Northern California, in August 2009, and is an Admiralty Specialist.

In addition, Attorney Cory Birnberg has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of California, Hastings School of Law, since 2000, and teaches a 3 unit course once a year in all Admiralty and Maritime subjects; including Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act.
